Teylu Bench

The client's brief was to create an Oak dining bench that fits in seamlessly with the dining table previously crafted for them, adding additional seating without the need to take up precious London floorspace. I kept the design simple and wanted to let the oak do the talking, with small nods to the previous design without being a replica. The choice to select Grown in Britain wood was a simple one as it offers such a high quality of wood and aligns well with the client's view on our environment and surroundings. The bench has been finished with a natural blend of oils and waxes providing a long-lasting, family-safe matt finish.
